1.)?Refinery Operator

Location:?Ibadan, Oyo

Purpose of the Job

  • Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of edible oil products and refinery equipment.

The Job

  • Manage the receipt of crude oil/ram materials from the storage tank into the buffer tank.
  • Support in Loading, Preparation of materials in the utility unit for production (phosphoric acid, caustic soda etc. as applicable) to ensure optimum usage of the unit materials in a safe manner.
  • Monitor proper chemical dosage consumption daily and prepare reports of production.
  • Ensure timely communication with internal customers (laboratory, tank farm, and utility).
  • Implement the supervisor?s directives according to the choice recipe as applicable.
  • Adhere to proper hygiene standards, keeping the environment clean and tidy including the machines/equipment.
  • Actively participate in routine maintenance of all refinery equipment.
  • Oversee crude oil filtration to remove impurities from crude oil.
  • Ensure commitment and compliance with all food safety programs and standards.
  • Understand the company?s food safety policy, its objective, and the benefits of an improved food safety management system.
  • Ensure compliance with FSMS requirements in the assigned work process.
  • Report problems regarding the food safety management system to the food safety Team/Leader or any other person specified via appropriate identification within the factory.

Qualifications and Experience

  • NABTEB / Trade Test
  • ?O? Level Credits including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.

2.)?Budget Controller (Corporate Head Office)

Location:?Apapa, Lagos

Purpose of the Job

  • The budget controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing FMN’s Group financial planning and budgeting processses.

The Job

  • Conducting financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential cost- saving opportunities.
  • Ensuring CHO costs are initiated according to company policy and department budget, recorded correctly, and reviewed against LE and budget targets.
  • Working closely with the CHO budget holder as well as conducting monthly reviews to ensure variances are identified and corrected in order to meet yearly objectives.
  • Conducting monthly reviews of group projects to ensure budget adherence and proper P&L cost/intangible asset capitalization.
  • Analyzing the Group’s indirect costs to ensure a thorough understanding of cost drivers and the identification of business units that are above budget.
  • Assisting with the consolidation of cost-saving initiatives across the group by reviewing and analyzing actuals versus targets and working closely with the Procurement team to identify, cost, and begin cost-saving projects.
  • Collaborating with department heads and other stakeholders to gather budget input and ensure alignment with the Groups goal

The Person Must:

  • Have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have proficiency in financial analysis techniques to evaluate data, identify trends and make informed decisions based on financial insights.
  • Have strong understanding of budgeting principles and techniques, including creating, monitoring and adjusting budgets as needed.
  • Have proficiency in using financial software and tools to collect, organize and analyze financial data.
  • Have meticulous attention to detail when preparing budgets, monitoring expenses, and conducting financial analysis

Qualifications

  • B.Sc / HND in Finance or related course.
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 7-10 years related experience working in an FCMG sector.
  • Have experience with accounting software and data entry.

3.)?Branding Manager

The Purpose

  • To manage the image and perception of assigned brands using appropriate research and integrated marketing communication tools to ensure continuous growth in market share and to achieve and exceed the sales objectives of the assigned brands.

The Job

  • Develop and implement plans and strategies to grow assigned brands in order to increase market share and sales revenue
  • Prepare integrated marketing communication briefs for advertising agencies and media partners to ensure clarity of brand objectives and positioning
  • Collate, summarize and maintain all market-related information on assigned brands to facilitate management decision-making process through accurate reporting
  • Monitor and evaluate integrated marketing communication activities on assigned brands to ensure compliance with approved brand budget, enhance brand positioning, and benchmark competition achievement of set objectives
  • Assist the marketing manager in the process of new product development and brand improvements

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor?s degree
  • 5 ?O? level credits including Mathematics and English in not more than 2 sitting
  • Membership of Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), APCON
  • MBA an added advantage

Experience:

  • 5 ? 10 years? cognate experience
